The advantages of Wafer Check Valve and flange check valve: Flange type check valve refers to the valve that relies on medium itself flow and automatically open, close valve valve, used to prevent medium backflow, also known as check valve, check valve, reverse current valve, and back pressure valve. Check valve is an automatic valve, its main function is to prevent the backflow of the medium, prevent the pump and drive motor reversal, and the discharge of the vessel medium. Check valves may also be used to supply lines in which pressure may rise to exceed the auxiliary system pressure. Check valve can be mainly divided into rotary start type check valve (rotating according to the center of gravity) and lifting type check valve (moving along the axis).

This type of valve functions to allow the medium to flow in only one direction, and to stop it. Usually the valve works automatically and opens the valve disc under a directional fluid pressure; During the fluid flow in the opposite direction, the fluid pressure and the valve disc stop on the valve seat to cut off the flow.

The flange type check valve belongs to this type of valve, which includes Swing Check Valve and Ball Check Valve. The swing check valve has a single hinge mechanism, and a door-like flap that is free against the surface of the tilted seat. To ensure that the valve flap reaches the proper position on the valve seat face each time, the valve flap is designed at the hinge mechanism so that the valve flap has sufficient turning space and has a true and full contact with the valve seat. The flap can be either made all out of metal, or inlaid with leather, rubber, or with a synthetic covering, depending on the performance requirements. When the swing check valve is fully open, the fluid pressure is almost unimpeded, so the pressure drop passing through the valve is relatively small.

The valve seat of the Ball Check Valve is located on the seat sealing face on the body. This valve is the rest of the valve, like the stop valve, the fluid pressure raises the valve flap from the valve seat sealing surface, the medium reflux causes the valve flap to fall back to the valve seat, and cut off the flow. Depending on the conditions of use, the flap can be an all-metal structure or in the form of a rubber pad or rubber ring inlaid on the valve holder. Like the stop valve, the passage of the fluid through the lift check valve is narrow, so the pressure drop through the Ball Check Valve is larger than the lift stop valve, and the flow of the lift stop valve is rarely limited.
