Classification and characteristics of pneumatic ball valve: pneumatic ball valve has O ball valve and V ball valve. Use and Maintenance:

1. Scope: This specification is applicable to the electric (or pneumatic) ball valves at the flange connections.

2Composition: It consists of an electric (or pneumatic) actuator (20) and the ball valve body parts, connected by the support (18) and the connection shaft (17).

3Limit of use: Temperature and pressure limits: Name plates show the maximum operating pressure allowed for ball valves at the maximum and minimum operating temperatures, and use PTFE or RTFE seats and seals to operate between 150 and 200 degrees. The operating temperature of other types of seats and seals shall be checked by the KI factory; the nominal pressure grade (PN) of the cold l valve indicates the maximum operating pressure of the valve at normal temperature.(For example, PN4.0, indicating that the maximum operating pressure at-290 C to 380 C is 40 Bar(4.0MPa)); see the corresponding instructions for the actuators, electric or pneumatic.

4Installation:

1) Remove the protective cover on both sides of the flange end, and rinse and clean when the valve is fully open.

2) Before installation, the whole machine shall be tested according to the specified signal (electricity or gas) (to prevent vibration caused by transportation), and can be installed on line (wiring according to the line diagram of the electric actuator).

3) Before preparing to connect with the pipe, rinse and remove the remaining impurities from the pipe (which may damage the valve seat and the ball).

4) During the installation period, please do not use the actuator part of the valve as the lifting point to avoid damaging the actuator and accessories..

5) These valves shall be installed in the horizontal or vertical direction of the pipe.

6) The pipe near the installation point should not be low hanging or bear the external force, and the pipe support or support can be used to eliminate the deviation of the pipeline.

7) After connecting with the pipe, please cross-lock the flange with the specified torque.

5. Operation and use: 1) Ensure that the pipeline and valve have been washed before operation.

2) The valve rotates the valve stem according to the actuator input signal: the valve closes when the valve rotates 1 / 4 circle (90) forward. Open valve on 1 / 4 (90).

 3) When the actuator direction indicates that the arrow is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is open; when the indicating arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the valve is closed.

6Maintenance: A long service life and service-free period will rely on several factors: normal working conditions, maintaining a harmonious temperature / pressure ratio, and reasonable corrosion data. Note: When the ball valve is closed, there is pressure fluid still exists inside the valve body; release the pressure of the pipeline and keep the valve in the open position before maintenance; disconnect the power or air supply source before maintenance; remove the actuator from the support before maintenance.

1) Lock the filling place again: if there is a slight leakage at the filling culvert, you must lock the valve rod nut again; pay attention not to lock too tightly, usually lock 1 / 4 ~1 lap, the leakage will stop. 2) Replace the valve seat and seal:

A). Remove: keep the valve in the semi-open position, Rlush and remove dangerous substances inside and outside the valve body; close the ball valve, Remove the connecting bolts and nuts on both flanges, Then remove the valve completely from the line; Drive removal-actuator (20), connecting bracket (18), loose washer (14), stem nut (13), butterfly cartridge (12), Gesang (11), wear resistance (10), stem filler (9); Remove the body cap connecting bolts (5) and the nut, Separation the bonnet from the body, And remove the valve cap washer (16); Verify that the valve ball (3) is in the OFF " position, This can take it easier out of the valve body, Then remove the valve seat; Tap the stem (6) down from the midhole in the body until fully removed, Then take out the O-ring (8) and the packing under the valve stem (7);

NOTE: Be carefully to avoid scratching the stem surface and the body packing seal.

B) Reassembly: Clean and check removed parts, strongly recommend replace seats and valve cap washer seals with spare parts package; assemble in reverse order of disassembly; cross-lock flange connecting bolts (5) with specified torque; lock stem nuts (13); after installing actuator, enter the corresponding signal to rotate the valve to open and close position; If possible, conduct pressure sealing and performance tests on the valve according to relevant standards before installing the pipe;
