Generally, the horizontal lifting check valve should be selected on the horizontal pipe with a nominal diameter of 50mm; 4. The direct lift check valve can only be installed in the horizontal pipe; 5. For the pump inlet pipeline, the bottom valve should be selected. The bottom valve is generally only installed on the vertical pipe of the pump inlet, and the medium flows from bottom to up; 6. The lifting type is better than the rotary type of sealing, the fluid resistance is large, and the horizontal type should be installed on the horizontal pipe, and the vertical type is installed on the vertical pipe; 7. The installation position of the rotary type check valve is not limited, it can be installed on the horizontal, vertical or inclined pipeline, such as installed on the vertical pipe, the flow of the medium should be from the bottom up; 8. The rotary check valve should not be made into small diameter valves, which can be made into a very high working pressure, the nominal pressure can reach 42MPa, and the nominal diameter can also be very large, the maximum can reach more than 2000mm. Any working medium and any working temperature range are applicable, depending on the material of the housing and seal. The media is water, steam, gas, corrosive media, oil products, drugs, etc. The medium operating temperature range is between-196- -800; 9. The applicable occasion of rotary type check valve is low pressure and large diameter, and the installation occasion is limited; 10. The installation position of the butterfly check valve is not limited, and it can be installed on the horizontal pipeline, or on the vertical or inclined pipeline; 11, diaphragm check valve is suitable for easy to produce water hit pipeline, diaphragm can well eliminate the medium countercurrent, it is generally used in low pressure normal temperature pipeline, especially suitable for water pipeline, general medium working temperature between-12-120, working pressure. 12. The spherical check valve is suitable for medium and low pressure pipelines, and can be made into large caliber; 13. The shell material of the spherical check valve can be made of stainless steel, and the hollow sphere of the seal can be wrapped in peflon engineering plastic, so it can also be applied in the pipeline of general corrosive medium. The working temperature is between-101-150, the nominal pressure is 4.0MPa, and the nominal passage range is between DN200-DN1200; 14. When selecting the check valve for the incompressible fluid, the first required closing speed should be evaluated. The second step is to select the type of the check valve that may meet the required closing speed; 15. For the check valve for the compressible fluid, the selection can be made according to the similar method of the check valve for the incompressible fluid. If the scope of the medium flow is very large, the check valve for the compressible fluid can use a deceleration device; if the medium flow is stopped and started continuously, such as the continuous outlet, then use the lifting check valve of the compressor; 16. The check valve shall determine the corresponding size, and the valve supplier must provide the data of the selected size, so that the valve size when the valve is fully open at a given flow rate can be found; 17. For the high school pressure check valve below DN50mm, the vertical lift and down check valve and the direct lift and down check valve should be selected; 18. For low-pressure check valves below DN50mm, butterfly check valve, vertical lift check valve and diaphragm check valve should be selected; 19. For the high high voltage check valve with DN greater than 50mm and less than 600mm, the rotary type check valve should be selected; 20. For medium and low voltage check valves with DN greater than 200mm and less than 1200mm, wear-free spherical check valves should be selected; 21. For low-pressure check valves with DN greater than 50mm and less than 2000mm, butterfly check valves and diaphragm check valves should be selected; 22. For the pipelines with relatively small water impact or no water impact when closing, slow closed rotary start check valve and slow closed butterfly check valve should be selected.
